It was a Tuesday morning when I first saw my Celia’s photo at a Kentucky shelter, and she was on the euthanasia list that was to be carried out on Thursday morning. Her crimes warranting euthanasia were being a stray, being a black dog, and having some hair loss. Thanks to JR’s, we were able to pull her. She went from being my foster dog to being my soul-mate.
